Off the Track This page is devoted to writing on topics beyond distance running. Several of these works are responses to a photograph or a painting. A Still Life by Van Gogh was inspired by Vase with Irises Against a Yellow Background. "Adam's House" refers to a watercolor by Edward Hopper.
