Come stay in our Private Log House... You'll be in your own world where you can explore our 65 acres of woods. You're only one mile from the Mighty Mississippi River if you enjoy boating or fishing. Maybe you'll catch a glimpse of the deer, hawks, bald eagles, herons, and other wildlife that are part of our little corner of the world. There are many antique shops in the area as well as a multiplex theater, wonderful places to eat and no shortages of places to explore. We have a gambling boat, and apple orchards, and our fall colors are spectacular! Prairie du Chien and the surrounding areas are rich in history and folklore. St. Feriole Island has the historic Villa Louis Mansion and the island is host to the annual Rendezvous, Civil War reenactments and the Carriage Classic at various times of the year.
