"My seat over the wing

I'm the happiest hot potato on the plane

I'm looking I'm looking it's beautiful

I want to go and live out there right now

Oh stewardess can you fix me.....

Some mercury...."

      The Secret Garden

The fascinations of Sailor Mercury, my lovely Ami-chan, are endless and the pure raw desire one can have for her can be distilled into one compelling notion. That of a secret garden, rich and labrynthian, where the notional complexities of Soren Kierkegaard and the dulcet simplicities of Frances Hodgson Burnett swirl in a mathematical whirlwind of sensuality. And within that secret garden, Mizuno Ami blossoms with a beauty that will melt your heart into her heart and fuse your body into her body until you are both lost in a lush labrynth of forever.

That, gentle scientists, is what Mizuno Ami, Sailor Mercury, is all about.

This page was another of my original Sailor Moon pages from 1996. My Mizuno Ami shrine. Anyway, it would be belaboring the obvious to say that Sailor Mercury is one of my favorites (the other being Sailor Jupiter), so I won't. Unlike my Sailor Jupiter page, the original page mysteriously disappeared before I could rescue it after Yahoo took over Geocities. I'm not trying to recapture the spirit of the original page as much as I am trying to recapture the original tone----a far more difficult if not impossible task. *slump*

Perhaps I should just shut my pie hole and let the pictures do the talking. After all, those of us who are already Ami-chan fans know all this. We know this all DEEPLY within our hearts.

"Shhhhhhh!!   Ami-chan is doing her homework!"
